Your feet literally take a pounding each and every day and are very often neglected when it comes to any kind of preventative or specialist care.  A podiatrist will assist with the diagnosis and care of all foot related problems; from simple skin care such as corns and calluses to the management of complex musculoskeletal disorders.

Your foot is an engineering marvel that has 26 bones, a lot of ligament, muscles and nerves and serves us well.  However, at some point in our lives 75% of us will experience some form of foot pathology. This is where a Podiatrist comes in...

Sports Massage

What Happens During Sports Massage?

Sports massage was originally developed to help athletes prepare their bodies for optimal performance, recover after a big event, or function well during training. Sports massage emphasizes prevention and healing of injuries to the muscles and tendons.

But you don't have to be in the Olympics to benefit from sports massage. Sports massage is also good for people with injuries, chronic pain or restricted range of motion. The sports massage therapist generally concentrates on a specific problem area. The stiff necks from too much lap top use? Tense shoulders from, well, a tense, tough day at work? Sports massage will help to alleviate the symptoms and the therapist will help address the cause with specific advice.
